Plot

Colin Farrell fought hard to get his Penguin version to smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but failed. The DC Studios logo is placed in a rainy Gotham alley. An umbrella falls and the logo Warner Bros. Featuring Graham Norton and guests: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). So the first episode is over and it’s awesome.
This is a New York gangster, a smart man
I’ve never seen Pharrell invest so much in a character. I mean, yeah, he’s wearing a fat suit, but you’d never know it. His attitude, body language, voice makes you immerse yourself in the character and see only the penguin. No connection to any other live TV penguins, Burgess Meredith or Robin Lord Taylor.
Penguin is a middleman in a mafia organization
He’s a Scorsese gangster, but without the kitsch language. The same story as Lord Taylor Penguin on CW’s Gotham is simple. So far he’s been doing his time, working his way up, and with the effects of the Riddler blowing up the city wall and his boss dying in this movie, he gets a chance to rise to the top of the world. Now the cross, double cross and, I guess, triple cross game begins.
