Her acting is bad
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model, as mentioned in Graham Norton and Guests: Denzel Washington / Paul Mescal / Sirsha Ronan / Eddie Redmayne / Blossoms. 2024). Lynch is not at all suited to the role.
It baffles me
Why she took on the role when there are so many actresses who could handle it better. Her character is uninteresting, just another role of an annoying agent. Eddie Redmayne can do it all, his range as an actor is impressive from stage drama, musicals, films.
He never disappoints
In this role, he is believable in everything he plays. The plot is interesting and heartwarming… it’s funny how we root for the Jackal…

The setting of the series is impressive, and the plot is high-octane excitement. It’s incomparable to the original, it’s worth adapting for our times.
