Malegon Superboys is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegon. The townspeople seek out Bollywood cinema to escape their daily routine. Nasir is inspired by the people of Malegon to make a film for the people of Malegon. He brings together his mischievous group of friends to realize his vision, bringing a new lease of life to the town. The film is a moving yet uplifting look at both filmmaking and friendship – and what happens when these two worlds collide.
