Proud princess Krasomila lives in isolation, her advisors plot to marry her off to a weakling; King Miroslav disguises himself as a gardener to cure his pride; they flee the advisors’ wrath; she discovers his identity; they marry, the advisors are expelled. The main animation team was Czech, but animators from Spain, Poland, Mexico, Slovakia, France, Venezuela, India and Ukraine also contributed to the film in various ways.
