CNN cameraman Margaret Mott is fearlessly filming war zones. Premiere of the film “Sundance” starring Christian Amanpour, directed by Lucy Lawless. Saw it at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024. “Never look away”; This is an interesting documentary about photojournalist Margaret Mott, with insightful discussions, good presentation and a clear sense of direction and tone. Documentary films about photography and war are not new, as there is nothing impressive or surprising about the structure of the documentary, but the essence of its emotional message, the direction and style of the documentary continue to support investment, and many conversations and concepts are well explored. Mott is an interesting person, and the documentary does a good job of explaining who she was, her influence on her work, and what made her special. Even though the music used is funny and some of the editing options are a little confusing, overall I like it.
