A modern-day tale of rags to riches in the world of West Texas oil rigs

Landman, at least someone who works in the oil industry, will act as a middleman between exploration companies and landowners. It is usually the landowner’s job to negotiate and finalize deals with landowners who hold mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent. Basically, they manage the land and secure the leases so they can drill for oil and gas.

Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, worker living quarters (human camp), supervise the assembly of digging equipment, and the drilling of the rig itself, especially in remote areas. Interesting people and plots
The mood is Yellowstone, and it’s welcome, a fantastic reality vs. superhero series. Set in the Permian Basin oilfield and has a great cast so far! We oilfield guys shake our heads at the inaccuracies and explosions/blowouts of life in the field.
Old stuck valve, 24″ pipe wrench (turned upside down and hammered near the top?
The technical failures of the first three series are embarrassing, and your technical advisor did everything wrong during the blowout scene. 100% wrong. Needs torque, no cheater pipe unless there is a brass hammer (ie no spark)? No one has any experience with oil the mining crew would never have done it.
Chaotic manager tries to put out the strike (never seen Landman on site, he turns the wrench over and hits his finger?)
