A bounty hunter pig finds himself on a world tour with a free-spirited elephant he’s determined to capture. Writer Berkeley Breathed’s illustrations of Bill the Cat from the Bloom County comic strip can be considered one of Hitpig’s bounties and on a makeshift parachute. Pickles: Eat your heart out, Dumbo!

plot. But he has an above-average sense of humor. Probably because the jokes are often about the characters, not just random.
I liked the chaotic, almost hectic quality of the story
It helps the film find the right balance between lighthearted cartooning and heavier concepts like animal abuse. A lot of modern movies are too serious, this one isn’t. Still, there’s enough meat on the bones to care about the characters.
The heroes are much better
The film’s biggest flaw is the very generic villain. At least his goal is fairly unique. He’s also not the main focus.
