Plot
Agathe Riedinger’s film does not reproduce romantic clichés. Flawless acting and character development that is hard not to get attached to. An excellent script that consciously – with a maturity rarely seen among debuts – avoids the well-trodden paths of drama.
Beautiful cinema, incredible debut
The director hints at them and then consistently leads us down a different path. The reality of this film is far from the black-and-white simplifications that decades of patriarchal storytelling have accustomed us to. Here the subject is a woman.
