Dexter: Resurrection (2025) followed
Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he transforms from student to vengeful serial killer under the tutelage of his father Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar was when Dexter first aired (2006).
Of course I liked it
I watched the original Dexter series, all the seasons, I admit I hated it more than once. I watched New Blood and found it to be okay. Like many other fans, I thought the Freudian ending was, well, lame.
Right down to Deb’s mouth and Masuka’s trademark laugh
This prequel is much better in my opinion so far. Maybe they’re familiar characters, they love that they’re all back, and the show doesn’t fall far short of what we’d expect in that regard. No, I’m not giving away spoilers to say that.
For me, the show has been a blast
