The original French title of the project was to be “Les Indésirables” before being changed
A local activist and a young aspiring mayor clash over the best path forward for their deprived suburb. In this second film from the director of LES MISERABLES, made in 2019, we find Alexis Manenti and Steve Tchientcheu, but not in the same roles.
It is just an indictment against real facts, a real tragedy
From a cop, Manenti becomes mayor, and Tchientcheu from a local baron is also a high-ranking official in the town hall… This one is not a social drama but only a social drama, just remove the criminal element.
