Sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). Plot unknown. Speaking to French news outlet 20 Minutes (via Culture Crave), James Cameron revealed that the third film will introduce a group of Na’vi villains called the Ash People. “I want to reveal the Na’vi from another angle because [so far] I’ve only shown their good sides. In the first films, there are very negative human examples and very positive Na’vi examples. In Avatar 3, we’ll do the opposite.” Followed by Avatar 4 (2029)
