Plot
After being released from prison, Mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire. Sylvester Stallone kills it in Tulsa King! For Stallone to do a TV show you knew it had to be well scripted and of course it was created with Taylor Sheridan. Sheridan kept hitting home run after home run.
Everything he touches turns to gold
He’s the best thing on TV right now, with incredible shows like Yellowstone, 1883, Mayor of Kingstown, etc. and movies like Sicario, Hell or High Water and Wind River. Also, one of the other writers on The Sopranos & Boardwalk Empire.
I mean come on?
There is no way this show is going to be spoiled by those two. It has everything you want in a good show…drama, violence, comedy, etc. Stallone plays the likable tough guy to perfection..
