This landed him the role
Plot
A maniac named Art Clown terrorizes two friends on Halloween and everyone who gets in his way. David Howard Thornton was the sixth person to try out for the role of Art the Clown after Mike Giannelli left the role and quit acting altogether. During the audition, he began pretending he was tasting the blood of his decapitated victim, but later added salt to it to make it taste better. In the takes where Tara’s mouth is taped shut, in some of the early takes the tape clearly doesn’t touch the bottom of her mouth, while in other takes it’s wrapped tightly around both lips.

EMT Roman: How can you eat a fat croissant while cutting up corpses? Coroner: Honey, I’ve been doing this for twenty-two years, okay? Once you see an eight-month-old baby die in a microwave… everything else is irrelevant. There is a heavily edited version on YouTube, with scenes of violence and gore, as well as nudity, removed.
Old-school tricks fuel the violence and gore
I’ll give it a try Written and Directed Thanks. A brutal, barbaric, and heinous horror filled with gut-wrenching murders and senseless savagery, Terrifier is completely devoid of basic narrative underpinnings and exists solely to shock, disturb, unsettle, and disgust its viewers with its endless blood and merciless carnage, but for those who like the extreme, this indie slasher can be a welcome adventure with thrills and murders. Written, produced, edited, and directed by Damien Leone, the plot is nothing more than an outline with nothing of value and exists only as an excuse for the director to indulge himself. The makeup and special effects deserve a mention, but with no narrative or characters to back it up, the film doesn’t cover much.
However, David Howard Thornton impresses in his role and is disgusting to watch
Shoddy dialogue and awful acting further hamper the ride, not to mention the film also lacks tension, being rather predictable and repetitive. The cardboard characters continue to make idiotic decisions throughout the film, which only reduces our interest in their fate, if there ever was any. Overall, “Horrifying” is as disgusting and repulsive as it is rude and merciless, often letting itself get carried away by its walls of torture and horror. While this type of cinematic offering has its audience, the film is still largely a forgettable attraction.

That said, Art Clown shows promise and potential to become an icon of the horror franchise, but his character and mythology need to be fleshed out better than they are here. Art Clown, Pennywise, and Killer Clowns are just a few of the comical creatures that make us shudder.
